ALPS Develops TDBE Series of Compact DVB-C Tuner Modules for Digital CATV |
Duesseldorf, Germany, June 08, 2011 - With the TDBE series, ALPS ELECTRIC EUROPE GmbH offers compact DVB-C tuner modules for digital Cable TV in Europe, China, Taiwan, and South America. The modules have dimensions of 33.5mm x 31.0mm x 10.0mm (W x D x H) and cover UHF/VHF bands from 334 to 862MHz and 47 to 333MHz. They are remarkable for their high sensitivity, low phase noise and excellent distortion characteristics. The modules feature a programmable IF band with 6MHz and 8MHz. Their adjustable output center frequencies amount to 4.57MHz, 5MHz, 6MHz and 7.2MHz. They are controlled via I2C bus. The tuners are rated for supply voltages of 3.3V or 3.3V/1.8V in low power mode. They are optionally available with looped through output. Typical applications are flat screen TVs, CD players, PCs, and peripherals. The TDBE series complies with the RoHS (Restriction on Hazardous Substances) directive and is available in minimum packing units of 480 pieces. More information on the new product |
