ALPS offers IEEE802.11a/b/g/n Compatible WLAN-Module for TVs, Home Audio and Digital Cameras |
Duesseldorf, Germany, April 26, 2013 – With the UGZZE-M11A ALPS ELECTRIC EUROPE GmbH is now offering a IEEE802.11a/b/g/n compatible wireless LAN module with data transmission rates of up to 150Mbps. Due to the low current consumption of 380mA during transmission and 150mA when receiving, the module is suitable for TVs, home audio and digital cameras. The compact-sized SMD module has dimensions of 16.8mm x 11.6mm x 2.57 mm (W x D x H). It works in frequency ranges from 2,142 to 2,472MHz, 5,180 to 5,320 MHz and 5,500 to 5,700 MHz. The output level amounts to 14 dBm (11b), 12 dBm (11g/n) and 10 dBm (11a/n) typical. For high-speed communication the module features a SDIO interface. The UGZZE-M11A is supplied by a voltage of 3.3 V. Its typical current consumption in power-down mode is only 3.0µA at 1.8V. The operating temperature ranges from –20°C to +50°C.
