ALPS to Exhibit at Sensors Expo & Conference |
Munich, Germany, June 09, 2015 – ALPS Electric will be exhibiting at the Sensors Expo & Conference to be held at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, California, from June 9 to 11. The Sensors Expo & Conference is the leading event in the United States focusing exclusively on sensors and sensor-integrated systems. ALPS Electric participated in 2014 and will be exhibiting again this year, showcasing sensors that integrate technologies the company has accumulated over the years in the fields of human-machine interfaces, sensing and connectivity. Product to Watch The gyroscopes jointly developed by ALPS Electric and Qualtré, Inc. are based on bulk acoustic wave (BAW) sensor technology involving vibration of the entire resonator at frequencies of several megahertz. This ensures outstanding immunity to extraneous stimuli such as vibration and shock immunity while also realizing low power consumption. The main envisaged applications of these sensing devices are in the automotive electronics and industrial systems markets, where demand for robustness is especially high. They include autonomous navigation units, robotic body control and control units for construction machinery. Please visit the ALPS Electric booth and observe the sensing performance of these products first-hand.
