28.03.2022 10:00 Pfaff Verkehrstechnik internationally successful with height-adjustable access platforms for bus roof and window maintenance
Kissing (Germany), March 28, 2022 – Pfaff Verkehrstechnik is increasingly supplying its recently launched access platforms for bus roof maintenance to municipal bus operators throughout Europe, for example, as far away as Norrköping, a Swedish city in the province of Östergötland. The roof working platforms recently installed there are used to carry out maintenance and repair work safely and efficiently on the roofs and windows of the municipal bus operator's vehicles. Pfaff Verkehrstechnik has already delivered several such systems to Swedish companies as Sweden is one of the pioneers in electromobility, and the electrically powered buses frequently used there require more maintenance than diesel-powered buses.

Kissing (Germany), 5 January 2021 – Columbus McKinnon Corporation (CMCO) has brought together its brands, including Pfaff-silberblau, a brand of the German subsidiary Columbus McKinnon Engineered Products, and Pfaff Verkehrstechnik, on a new global website that has been very well received by customers since going live in mid-December 2021 and has already initiated many projects currently underway due to its optimised web-based interaction. One reason for the success and the high level of acceptance is the fundamentally improved user experience, since many new features have also been integrated in addition to familiar functions such as the popular Pfaff-silberblau CAD configurator "CAD & go".

17.08.2021 09:00 Complete upgrade of a blackboard system with PHOENIX telescopic lifting columns from Columbus McKinnon Engineered Products
Kissing (Germany), 17 August 2021 – As part of a modernisation project, the Heinz-Schönfeld lecture hall of the Technical University of Dresden was equipped with a new blackboard adjustment system. Instead of the cable winch system dating from the 1960s, a solution from Columbus McKinnon Engineered Products with PHOENIX telescopic lifting columns PH36 of the Pfaff-silberblau brand was implemented. With the new system, all five blackboard panels can now be automatically raised and lowered by 1,300 mm at a speed of 2 m/min at the push of a button. The system is very simple to operate. Each board in the lecture hall can be electrically moved individually via its own control element. The Columbus McKinnon Engineered Products system operates silently, which is a great advantage during events and lectures. Thanks to their backlash-free sliding guides, they guarantee absolute stability even when fully extended.
