More diverse range of versions – more possibilities for combinations
Friedberg, Germany, April 16, 2007 – The worm-gear screw jacks “Classic-Line“ from the SHE model series are probably the most versatile actuators in the portfolio of products supplied by Pfaff-silberblau Hebezeugfabrik GmbH & Co. KG of Derching/Friedberg, Germany. Now, the specialist for drive technology has thoroughly reworked this successful model series and is offering its customers nearly unlimited possibilities when it comes to moving loads that weigh between 500 kg and 200 t.

Effective immediately, most model sizes for these worm-gear screw jacks are available in at least 82 standard versions. SHEs are available, for example, with protective tubing to cover the worm gears, with anti-turn devices and electric stroke-end limits switches, and variants can be ordered with both mechanical and inductive switching elements. Worm-gear jacks are also available with different safety nuts, including the option of having electric safety monitoring as protection against breakage within the nut (in accordance with DIN EN280, EN1493, EN1756 and EN1570), and the range of options continues all the way to versions with reduced play or adjustable clearance.

Depending on the model type, all SHE variants can be combined with either two or four different head versions. These alternatives enable variable and application-oriented integration of the lifting element into the existing design.

The options for combining the SHEs with add-on parts have also been greatly expanded. Pfaff-silberblau customers can couple the new lifting gear drive with different swivel systems, and they can mount a multitude of drive motors via a variable system of motor-mounting flanges.

To accommodate the new SHE modular line up’s tremendous range of variants, production-oriented subassemblies have been created, the components have been optimized, and new process-adapted manufacturing documentation has been prepared. For customers, this provides a better overview of the different variants that are available for a specific system. These offerings make solutions available for all lifting and drive requirements and ensure faster delivery periods.

All SHEs from the new series and the accompanying accessories remain compatible with Pfaff-silberblau’s previous series of SHE models. All relevant installation dimensions and performance specifications have remained unchanged to ensure that ordering replacement parts and complete replacement units remains as easy as ever.

The new series of SHE models as well as other equipment – such as electromechanical linear actuators, electromechanical screw rams and exciting solutions from the realm of actuator technology – are being presented by Pfaff-silberblau at the Hannover Messe 2007 in the “Motion, Drive & Automation” exhibition area in hall 26 at booth H27.
