Motek Premiere: Pfaff-silberblau Presents New High Performance Linear Actuators HLA |
HLA series combines advantages of the proven HSE and ALSR |
Friedberg, 23 August 2007 - At Motek 2007 in Stuttgart, Pfaff-silberblau Hebezeugfabrik GmbH & Co. KG, Derching/Friedberg (Germany), will be presenting its new series of High Performance Linear Actuators HLA for the first time. The HLA combines the advantages of the proven High Performance Worm Gear Screw Jacks HSE and the Electromechanical Screw Rams with tubular construction ALSR of the specialist for actuator technology. Pfaff-silberblau thus fulfils the rising demands of its customers for flexibly usable and reliable drives for the most diverse applications, even under the roughest ambient conditions. The new HLA thus has the same capable gear as the HSE series from Pfaff-silberblau, and can be used both as an individual drive (Fig. 1) as well as in multi-screw lifting systems (Fig. 2). The linear actuators are available in two transmission stages each. They operate with lifting speeds between 0.025 m/min and 10 m/min depending on load, duty cycle and screw design. From the ALSR series, the HLA takes over the shaft/thrust tube system which optimally protects the shaft from fouling. In addition, the system is self-supporting, which means that the screw has a solid guide system, so that there is no need for the customer to supply some separate screw guide. From October 2007, Pfaff-silberblau will be offering its High Performance Linear Actuators HLA in the sizes HLA 25, HLA 50 and HLA 100 with a maximum tensile/compressive force of 25 kN, 50 kN and 100 kN respectively. The range will soon be supplemented by size 10 with a maximum tensile/compressive force of 10 kN. A standard fitment of the HLA is a self-locking trapezoidal thread screw and an anti-turn device. Due to the high quality of the lubricant used, the High Performance Linear Actuators from Pfaff-silberblau require very little maintenance. A re-lubrication possibility is provided as standard, in line with the duty cycle and availability. The stroke lengths of the HLA are standardized; special stroke lengths are also possible in accordance with customer requirements. In addition to the standard features, Pfaff-silberblau offers its customers a series of options, with which the HLA can be optimally adjusted to customer specific requirements. For example, instead of the trapezoidal thread screw, a ball screw can be employed. Also available are various head designs, inductive or mechanical operating and safety limit switches as well as safety nuts. This will also enable the use of HLA for lifting systems that are subject to EN 1570, EN 280, EN 1756 and EN 1493. The possible applications of the new HLA series are also increased by a wide range of standardized attachments, such as swivel mounting bases, swivel plates and motor mounting flanges. The new HLA series will be displayed by Pfaff-silberblau to its customers for the very first time at Motek 2007 in Stuttgart (Germany). The model shown consists of two individual drives HLA 25 with three-phase motor and frequency converter and will be synchro controlled by master/slave operation. The control concept for the application was also developed by Pfaff-silberblau. |
