The Evolution of Worm Gear Screw Jacks: The New SHE 15.1 from Pfaff-silberblau
Pfaff-silberblau consistently updates and optimises customer-friendly SHE building block system
Friedberg, August 30, 2007 - Pfaff-silberblau Hebezeugfabrik GmbH, located in Derching/Friedberg (Germany), recently introduced the enhanced customer-friendly building block system for their successful SHE worm gear screw jacks. In the course of standardising this model range, the specialist for actuator technology has now revised the lifting gear of the SHE Size 15. The new SHE 15.1 is easier to install and more flexible than ever and replaces the Size 10 worm gear screw jack while providing even more power and increased safety.

The SHE 15.1, with its static lifting force of up to 15 t and especially its ease of handling, will be appreciated by users. The customer can now easily retroactively install the motor mounting flanges and shaft protection caps himself. Even changing the mounting side is quite straightforward. The SHE 15.1 has the same standard product range as the previous model, including models with screw limit stop as well as anti-turn device with inductive or mechanical limit switch and the many proven special design.

With the introduction of the SHE 15.1, Pfaff-silberblau optimises its standard worm gear screw jack series. The revised model replaces the Size 10 model from the previous product range and has, in addition to higher lifting capacity, a larger screw diameter. This provides increased safety, as the reduced screw gradient angle improves the self-locking capability of the lifting elements. The connecting dimensions of the SHE 10 and the 15.1 are identical so that the gears are interchangeable and customers do not need to change their construction. Spare parts will further to be available for already delivered lifting gears.

Pfaff-silberblau will present its standardised building block system for worm gear screw jacks and its extensive range of accessories at “go” from 4 to 7 September in Basel, Switzerland (Hall 2.1, Stand N48) and also at Motek from 24 to 27 September in Stuttgart, Germany (Hall 5, Stand 5525). At Motek, the company will also present its new range of HLA High Performance Linear Actuators for the first time.
