Strong, stable, safe: The EGV ESL range of `Electric Stackers` from Pfaff-silberblau |
Kissing and Hannover, 27 May 2008 – The EGV ESL range of electric stackers from Pfaff-silberblau Hebezeugfabrik GmbH, Kissing/Germany, are truly a class of their own: At CeMAT 2008, the specialists in lifting & material equipment will be presenting the latest versions of its reliable, electrically driven stackers, whose powerful performance and user-friendly design meet every possible requirement in everyday use in storage and production. The smooth-running EGV ESL-10 lifts pallets, mesh pallets and other bulky loads weighing up to 1,000kg (load centre 600mm) as standard to heights up to 1,600 mm and allows easy positioning even when fully loaded. Its big brother, the EGV ESL-12, can even cope with loads up to 1,200kg and can be flexibly fitted with three different masts giving a lift of 1,600mm, 2,500mm or 3,000mm. One of the outstanding special features of this type of stackers is the sprung, centrally located drive wheel in Pfaff-silberblau's new electric stacker. It guarantees an anti-slip drive and gives superb wheel grip. In combination with four support rollers, it also ensures maximum stability for the stackers, in which the chassis, forks, supporting legs and mast profiles are made of high-grade steel. As usual for Pfaff-silberblau, the EGV ESL models are controlled conveniently using smooth-running levers and switches on the centrally positioned drawbar. In addition to its fully electronic lift/lower function, the EGV ESL-12 has a sensitive lowering valve which allows the forks to be positioned manually almost accurate to the millimetre and the lowering speed to be precisely controlled. The compact, low-level drive and control unit, as well as the tough PVC protective plate in front of it, allow the user to see the load to be moved at all times. The electric stackers are powered by two 12V-90Ah semi-traction batteries. If they run down, the new integrated high-frequency charger, which can be plugged into any 220 V standard socket, will quickly recharge the batteries and make sure that everything is fully operational again. In addition to the EGV ESL range of electric stackers, Pfaff-silberblau will also be presenting many of the highlights from its range of lifting and material equipment at Manutention 2008. At stand 6J005 in hall 6, visitors will also be able to see the new MH hydraulic machine lifting jack and the variable girder trolley SILVERLINE. |
