Motek premiere: Pfaff-silberblau presents new linear drives "CLA"and "CLAT" |
Single-stage and telescoped versions with parallel-mounted motor |
Kissing and Stuttgart, 22 September 2008 - At the Motek 2008 Pfaff-silberblau Hebezeugfabrik GmbH, Kissing/Germany, introduce their new range "CLA" and "CLAT" linear actuator drives in single- and two-stage versions. With these, the specialists in drive technology meet customer requirements for versatile, reliable linear drives for the most varied applications requiring individual mechanical drives with optimum efficiency, high positioning precision and compact construction. For example, the new Pfaff-silberblau linear drives have powerful, multi-stage gears that can transmit the required torque to the spindle with minimal play. They are available in a “single-stage” spindle version as Series CLA (Compact Linear Actuator) or “two-stage”, as Series CLAT (Compact Linear Actuator Telescopic). The Series CLA linear actuators have a self-locking trapezoidal screw as standard. For higher dynamic requirements, they are optionally available with a ball-return spindle. With the Series CLAT, mechanical linear drives can now be used in the smallest of spaces. This is possible because both the spindle and the protective housing are telescopic in design. Compared to the single-stage version, it was possible to reduce the installed dimensions by up to 30 percent. High-quality internal guides ensure that the telescoped trapezoidal spindle carries out a precise linear movement with little radial play inside the shaft tube. Both series are fitted with rotary-current motors (400 V 50 Hz) as standard. Depending on the load, power-on time and spindle version, they work at stroke speeds of up to 10 metres per min. The shaft/tube system gives the spindle optimum protection from dirt, and also has a stable guide that dispenses with a separate spindle guide on the customer side. The new Pfaff-silberblau CLA and CLAT Compact Linear Actuators are extremely low-maintenance, due in part to the high quality of the lubricant used. Depending on the requirements with regard to power-on time and availability, re-lubrication is possible. Standardised stroke lengths and motors ensure quick, economical availability. The CLA and CLAT Series can be installed in any attitude. Their modular design allows predefined drive motors, such as rotary-current, servo or brake motors to be mounted quickly and variably. This opens up the option of synchronising several individual drives electrically. Pfaff-silberblau also offer their customers a suitable control concept for each application. At the Motek 2008, Pfaff-silberblau – exhibiting in Hall 5, Stand 5525 together with their subsidiary ALLTEC – presents the CLA and CLAT linear drives in public for the first time. The compact linear drives in sizes CLA 10/ CLAT 10 and CLA 25/CLAT 25, with a maximum push/pull force of 10 kN or 25 kN, will be available as of November 2008. Further sizes, with a maximum push/pull force of up to 100 kN will be available by March 2009 at the latest. |
