Ronald Bartel is Pfaff-silberblau’s New Director of Sales & Marketing

Kissing, Germany, 28 October 2008 - As of 1 October 2008, Ronald Bartel has assumed responsibility for Sales & Marketing at Pfaff-silberblau Hebezeugfabrik GmbH with headquarters in Kissing. He is replacing Kai G. Liesendahl, who will now be managing “International Sales” at Pfaff-silberblau. Thanks to the strong relevance of his previous positions, Ronald Bartel is completely familiar with Pfaff-silberblau’s areas of business. From 1997 onward, he worked as a sales engineer for hoisting and component technology in Mannheim, Germany, at Mannesmann Dematic AG, which later became Demag Cranes & Components GmbH. In 2000, he moved to Shanghai. There, he served the company as deputy general manager for sales & marketing in China, where he gained valuable experience with the Asian market. From 2005 onward, Ronald Bartel worked for A. Friedr. Flender AG as sales manager for the company’s “Industrial Drive Applications” unit at its location in Friedrichsfeld-Voerde, Germany. Ronald Bartel holds a masters-level degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Hanover. He also earned an MBA from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Since he is able to draw upon many years of experience in the areas of lifting and material handling technology as well as drive technology, Ronald Bartel will be able to make a crucial contribution to Pfaff-silberblau’s continued growth. “The company has made all the preparations to continue its internationalization process. I see driving these efforts as my primary responsibility,” said Ronald Bartel. “In addition, we will now be sharpening our focus on addressing vertical markets and on systematically expanding Pfaff-silberblau’s market share in new industries with the proven products from the portfolio of lifting and material handling technology and with our outstanding engineering services for actuator technology.”
