Pfaff-silberblau reaches towering heights with the new CHS SINATO series of electric chain hoists |
New series of electric chain hoists featuring outstanding thermal characteristics is also well-suited for extremely high lifts |
Kissing, December 15, 2009 – Safety and ease of operation are a matter of course for the new CHS SINATO series of electric chain hoists from Pfaff-silberblau Hebezeugfabrik GmbH with headquarters in Kissing, Germany. Another SINATO feature that goes without saying is its outstanding performance: Thanks in part to its exterior-mounted motor with cooling ribs, this electric chain hoist offers excellent thermal properties, which enables it to ensure long duty cycles. As a result, the SINATO is even suitable for extreme lifting heights of up to 120 m. In addition to the hoist’s suitability for use in traditional applications in production and in assembly, these features also qualify it for particularly demanding tasks, such as applications in modern wind-mill power plants. During operation, the load attached to the SINATO is secured at all times and at all heights: The newly developed friction clutch, which is separate from the load brake and can be conveniently adjusted from the exterior, ensures precise and reliable overload monitoring. The new electric chain hoist’s brake is encapsulated in a position inside the chain hoist and is thus also constantly protected against dirt and grime, even when working under harsh conditions. Limit switches, which are included with the standard version, reliably ensure that the hoist shuts off when the upper and lower hook positions are reached. Overall, the CHS SINATO electric chain hoist from Pfaff-silberblau is a true role model when it comes to ease of operation: Its oil-tight gear block, control unit and drive unit, for example, make the hoist easy to maintain. Its bolted housing cover enables fast and easy access to all connections. The load sprocket and the chain guide are easy to replace, and the chain attachment points are easily accessible, even for double-fall models. The SINATO electric chain hoist’s chain guide is made of low-friction, fiber-glass reinforced polyamide for increased wear resistance, and it is fitted with steel reinforcements on both sides. A high-grade, robust plastic housing, which is also made of polyamide, makes the device highly resistant to impacts. The new electric chain hoist is also largely maintenance free: After 800 hours of operation or ten years, the only scheduled maintenance is an oil change. Much attention has also been paid to ensuring convenience during operation. The electric chain hoist is operated via an ergonomic control pendant or – depending on the specific model – via a convenient wireless controller. Here, the SINATO’s precision-machined helical cut gear wheels deliver impressively smooth running characteristics, which is especially noticeable in connection with particularly high lifting heights. The CHS SINATO electric chain hoist is available in more than 15 versions. It is fitted ex works with a suspension hook. However, it can optionally be equipped with upgrades such as a suspension bracket, a push travel trolley, a hand geared trolley, or an electric travel trolley. |
