Update for Pfaff-silberblau CAD & go: quick and easy online access to product data for drive technology
Kissing, Germany, March 3, 2011 – For many years now, Pfaff-silberblau, located in the south German town of Kissing, has been delivering its “CAD & go” service, providing quickly available CAD data online for its drive technology products in 3D or 2D for all CAD systems in common use. Now, after the launch of its redesigned SHE worm gear screw jacks, Pfaff-silberblau has updated its online CAD catalog and added to its usability with an optimized navigation and several new options and output formats. The update’s look is based on the corporate website. Pfaff-silberblau customers and other users can access CAD & go, free of charge and without needing to register, at http://www.pfaff-silberblau.com/cad-and-go and download tailored CAD data for construction drawings, quotes or orders.

The clear structure and menu gets users quickly to the product they need, and user-friendly selection menus help to configure each part speedily and individually. For a new-generation SHE worm gear screw jack, the user first selects the required model and size, then specifies characteristics such as installation position, ratio and lifting capacity. To accomplish this, the system accesses the most up-to-date standardized options and parts for the SHE.

The product data generated in this way can be exported easily, with just a few clicks; they are saved temporarily in the integrated “download” center, from which the user can download them compactly. The data can be issued in 3D or 2D in an extended range of data formats for use in the most frequently encountered CAD systems. Once loaded, the data can be incorporated straight away into construction drawings or quotes. A simultaneously generated order code makes ordering the required product simple.

CAD & go provides data on products from the following product groups: screw jacks, linear actuators, ball screws, flexible protection boots, bevel gear boxes, travelling nuts, connecting shafts, motor mounting flanges and accessories. The recent update of the SHE range will be followed by an update for the HSE range and MERKUR range.
