Fast design results for lifting technology from Pfaff-silberblau with online tool “CAD & go” |
Kissing/Germany, 8 April 2013 – Reliable and ready-to-use CAD data are essen-tial for designers in their daily work. This is why Columbus McKinnon Engineered Products GmbH, Kissing (Germany), is now offering the user-friendly and free online tool “CAD & go” also for the lifting technology of the Pfaff-silberblau brand. By visiting pfaffsilberblau.cadclick.com, it is possible with a few mouse clicks to generate individual CAD data for electric winches BETA, sheaves and sheave blocks and to download these for sub-sequent processing in a separate program as 2D or 3D models in various file formats. Using “CAD & go” does not require registration. User-friendly configuration, fast download With the introduction of the section “Lifting Technology”, CAD & go from Pfaff-silberblau has undergone a minor visual make-over. The new user interface features coloured icons that guide users through the selection of the individual product groups and therefore make user operation even more intuitive. The individual electric winches, sheaves and sheave blocks are configured via user-friendly drop-down menus, which comprise all the available options. For winches, it is possible for example to select the lifting capacity and the size as well as the individual type for the sheave and sheave block. Various previews are instantly available in the live view. When creating their individual CAD files, users can choose between 2D or 3D models, file formats such as dwg, dxf, iges and stl and their personal CAD program (from AutoCAD through to VectorWorks). The files generated at the click of the mouse are cached in a ‘download centre’ and, to conclude the process, can be downloaded individually or also as a compact ZIP file, or sent by e-mail. BETA Standard-Line and Engineered-Line for selection Pfaff-silberblau offers two types of its electric winch BETA, for which it is possible to have individual design data generated quickly and easily in CAD & go: The “Standard-Line” (abbreviated to S-Line, formerly known as “Silverline”) for standard applications and special winches with the name “Engineered-Line” (abbreviated to E-Line, formerly “Proline”) for example with variants as regards the drum length, size, rope direction and rope speed. Thanks to the ongoing product maintenance and regular updating of the options for all lifting technology products on CAD & go, Pfaff-silberblau assures a consistently high data quality in the online tool. CAD & go also for motion technology from Pfaff-silberblau As ever, CAD & go is also available for the motion technology products from Pfaff-silberblau. In section “Motion Technology”, designers can download indi-vidualised CAD files for screw jacks, linear actuators, ball screws, protection boots, bevel gear boxes, travelling nuts, connecting shafts, couplings, motor mounting flanges and accessories.
