Columbus McKinnon Engineered Products introduces new THETA series safety electric wire rope winch by Pfaff-silberblau
Kissing (Germany), November 7, 2018 – Columbus McKinnon Engineered Products has expanded its Pfaff-silberblau product portfolio of electric rope winches and is now launching its THETA wire rope winch on the market, which is predestined not only for the industrial sector but also for the commercial and private sector. Factory-specified features make this safety electric wire rope winch interesting for many applications, such as construction sites, in building technology or sports facilities - and thus also for individuals, craftsmen, local councils and construction yards. The Pfaff-silberblau THETA wire rope winch is operated with a supply voltage of 230 V (50 Hz).

Universal use in standard applications

The compact Pfaff-silberblau THETA series by Columbus McKinnon Engineered Products offers reliable safety, besides being suitable for a wide range of applications and very easy to use. Its high safety standard is achieved, amongst other things, by a mechanical double safety drum brake, separate from the drive, for safe and firm holding of the load. The load capacity of the THETA electric wire rope winch is 100 kg, the wire rope capacity in multi-layer winding is about 10 m (wire rope diameter 4 mm), with lifting speeds up to 3 m/min being possible thanks to the two-stage spur gear.

Easy to maintain and immediately available

A test device on the drum shaft facilitates the regular testing of the brake by experienced operators. The Pfaff-silberblau THETA wire rope winch has two limit switches (top, bottom) for the lift cut-off. The low-cost and easy-to-maintain wire rope winch from Columbus McKinnon Engineered Products is equipped with a control and gear limit switches, is available from stock and ready to use immediately upon delivery.
