Strong, Maneuverable and Safe: Pfaff-silberblau's HU 10-XE High-Lift Pallet Truck Features New Controller
Friedberg, Germany, August 2, 2005 - At the CeMAT trade show in Hanover, Germany, from 11 - 15 October 2005, Pfaff-silberblau Hebezeugfabrik GmbH & Co. KG of Derching/Friedberg, Germany, is presenting the reengineered version of its HU 10-XE high-lift pallet truck. Its controller and electrical equipment have been reengineered with user-friendly enhancements that make the lifting device even safer and more convenient to use for intracompany logistics or workshop tasks.

The HU 10-XE electrically lifts loads of up to 1 metric ton in a record-setting time of 18 seconds to a standard lifting height of 0.8 m. This is accomplished by the stable three-stage telescoping cylinder, which lifts the forks and chassis from a conveniently low height of just 85 mm. The operator can see the load throughout the operation and can check it during travel as well.

With the HU 10-XE, the user manually moves the load from one location to the next. In the process, the high-lift pallet truck proves itself to be extremely agile and easy-to-move thanks to its compact dimensions (a width of 540 mm and fork length of 1,170 mm) and to its convenient drawbar.

This high-lift pallet truck from Pfaff-silberblau offers additional safety through its newly integrated battery main switch, which serves as an emergency shutoff. A low-battery charge display that matches the battery charger display has been installed so that the user always knows when to plug the HU 10-XE back into the socket outlet to keep it completely ready for service.

In addition to the new HU 10-XE high-lift pallet truck, at CeMAT 2005, Pfaff-silberblau is presenting a series of other reengineered products from its versatile line up of lifting and material handling devices. The equipment being presented includes the maneuverable EGU 15 P electric pallet truck, the high-torque PROLINE P 90 pulley block, the sturdy PROLINE HZ PRO ratchet lever hoist, the SILVERLINE HZ S ratchet lever hoist with an additional gear box, as well as the redesigned SILVERLINE electric chain hoists.
