Keeping Heavy Loads Securely and Smoothly on the Hook: Pfaff-silberblau's PROLINE P 90 Pulley Block
Friedberg, Germany, and Paris, France, March 7, 2006 - For demanding mounting tasks, Pfaff-silberblau Hebezeugfabrik GmbH & Co. KG of Derching/ Friedberg, Germany, is presenting its PROLINE P 90 pulley block with fresh new technical refinements at the Manutention trade show from 7 through 10 March 2006 in Paris, France: Equipped with a new drive shaft in the housing and chain-guide rollers, the enhanced pulley block for vertical tasks from lifting equipment specialist Pfaff-silberblau enables its users to smoothly and safely hoist super-heavy loads.

The six different versions of the manually operated PROLINE P 90 master the lifting of loads between 500 and 10,000 kg. Even when fully loaded, the amount of force required from the user remains low at all times, which is partly due to the integrated friction brake, which reliably secures the load in any position. In the housing of the new version of the PROLINE P 90, the simple center shaft without bearings has been replaced with a drive shaft with grooved ball bearings: This provides additional stability during hoisting and ensures smooth operation without chain jamming.

At the entry and exit points for the pulley block's chain, Pfaff-silberblau's product developers replaced the guide bracket with special guide rollers for the chain. This enables the pulley block to run even more smoothly. Furthermore, this technique minimizes chain abrasion, so that the already low-maintenance PROLINE P 90 can handle very heavy loads for even longer.

The PROLINE P 90 pulley block is not the only further developed product from Pfaff-silberblau's line up of devices for lifting and material handling being shown at Manutention 2006. New versions of the HU 10-XE high-lift pallet truck, the maneuverable EGU 15 P electric pallet truck, the sturdy PROLINE HZ PRO ratchet lever hoist, the SILVERLINE HZ S ratchet lever hoist with an additional gear box, as well as the redesigned SILVERLINE electric chain hoists are also being presented.
