Mobile Power: The New EGU 15 P Electric Pallet Truck from Pfaff-silberblau

KG of Derching/Friedberg, Germany, is unveiling a real powerhouse for electrically lifting and moving loads weighing up to 1.5 t. The maneuverable new EGU 15 P electric pallet truck not only offers high performance and excellent reliability, it also offers top levels of user-friendliness and safety. With a length of 1600 mm and a width of 780 mm, the EGU 15 P features an extremely slender and maneuverable construction – nevertheless, its fork length of 1150 mm also enables it to pick up bulky loads. And its convenient dimensions cannot hide the enormous power that this electric pallet truck from Pfaff-silberblau has to offer: With a high-output drive motor rated at 700 W and a pump motor that turns out 800 W of power, this device moves its loads effortlessly and agilely in any environment. Thanks to a centrally mounted drive wheel with a robust automatic suspension system, the EGU 15 P adapts to unevenness on the underlying surface and thus makes it easier for its operator to maneuver the device, even on wet and uneven floors or loading ramps. And safety is also a top priority with the new electrically powered pallet truck. Due to its minimal overall height, operators always have full view of the end of the EGU 15 P's forks and of the load. The pallet truck's speed can be controlled with great sensitivity, and fast actuation of the brakes – by moving the drawbar upward or downward or by pressing the red safety button on the end of the drawbar – ensures the highest levels of safety At the same time, the EGU 15 P does not weary quickly, even when being used for long periods. No electric pallet truck in this class can get itself back up to speed and fully ready for action as quickly as the EGU can, because the EGU's standard equipment includes two strong semi-traction batteries, and the pallet truck is charged up and ready to go again in no time thanks to the integrated high-frequence charging device. If desired by the customer, this electric pallet truck can also be delivered with the option of charging it using a truck (lorry) battery. This is particularly practical when the EGU 15 P is to be kept on board a delivery vehicle as part of the vehicle's equipment.
