E.E.P.D. showcases embedded NUC single board computers and mainboard with the latest Intel & AMD processors for high performance |
April 05, 2024 E.E.P.D., solution partner for customized and standard embedded computer boards and systems based on ARM and x86, presents the latest members of the PROFIVE® family at Embedded World 2024 in hall 5, booth 108. These include the NUCN, an industrial single board computer (SBC) in embedded NUC format (eNUC), the MIME, a mainboard in accordance with the Mini-ITX standard, and an eNUC-SBC based on the AMD Ryzen Embedded 8000 series. The NUCN is equipped with Intel Atom® E-series and Intel® N-series (Alderlake-N) processors. Depending on the CPU variant, up to eight cores and eight threads are used. A 12th generation Intel UHD graphics processor is integrated for graphics processing. The SBC has up to 16GByte of LPDDR5-4800 memory with in-band ECC (Error Correction Code) support. It operates in the extended temperature range of 40°C to +85°C. The first samples will be available in the second quarter of 2024. Later models will also be compatible with the next "Amston Lake" Atom generation. The MIME is based on the latest 14th generation Intel Core Ultra processors. It features memory with up to 96GByte dual-channel DDR5-5600 SO-DIMMs with in-band ECC support and is designed for an operating temperature range of 0 to +60 °C. The company is also expanding its eNUC family with an SBC based on the latest AMD Ryzen Embedded 8000 series, which also supports Ryzen AI. Key features of the SBC, which was also presented at Embedded World, include the AMD "Zen 4" processor architecture, up to eight cores and eight threads, and an integrated Radeon™ graphics unit based on the AMD RDNA™ 3 architecture. Like all single board computers and mainboards from E.E.P.D., the latest products also feature the highest quality "Made in Germany". They are developed and produced at E.E.P.D. in Germany, and support is also provided from here. The main components and operating systems used in production are based on a "long-term roadmap" and ensure the long-term availability of the products. Further information on E.E.P.D.'s product and solution portfolio will be available at embedded world 2024 at the company's booth in hall 5, booth 108. |
