31.05.2022 10:15 Infineon introduces new high-performance XENSIV™ MEMS microphones with outstanding audio capturing for consumer electronics
Munich, Germany – 31 May, 2022 – Infineon Technologies AG (FSE: IFX / OTCQX: IFNNY) is launching its next-generation XENSIV™ MEMS microphones that define a new industry standard. The microphones IM69D127, IM73A135 and IM72D128 are the latest additions to Infineon’s growing microphone portfolio. Combined with selectable power modes the MEMS microphones are a perfect match for consumer electronics such as headphones with active noise cancellation (ANC), TWS earbuds, conference devices with beamforming capability, laptops, tablets, or smart speakers with voice-user-interfaces. Use cases also include selected industrial applications such as predictive maintenance and security.
27.05.2022 10:15 Infineon’s AIROC™ Wi-Fi/Bluetooth® solutions now available with NVIDIA Jetson Edge AI platform
Munich, Germany – 27 May, 2022 – Artificial intelligence (AI) at the edge will tremendously impact a number of industry verticals including robotics, smart cities, healthcare, industrial, retail, energy, agriculture, etc. AI for these applications involves a mix of processing in the cloud and at the edge. Infineon Technologies AG (FSE: IFX / OTCQX: IFNNY) today announced that it is bringing its AIROC™ Wi-Fi and Bluetooth® connectivity solutions to the NVIDIA Jetson edge AI platform.
25.05.2022 10:15 XENSIV™ 60 GHz radar sensor for automotive enables highly reliable in-cabin monitoring systems
Munich, Germany – 25 May, 2022 – With spring, temperatures are rising again to reach highs in summer. But rising temperatures also mean that it quickly becomes up to 70°C inside parked vehicles: A danger for animals and children left behind in the car. Equipped with the XENSIV™ 60 GHz automotive radar sensor (BGT60ATR24C) from Infineon Technologies AG (FSE: IFX / OTCQX: IFNNY), in-cabin monitoring systems (ICMS) detect micro-movements as well as vital signs of left-behind infants and animals and sound the alarm. In addition, the compact and cost-effective chipset addresses applications such as front-end radar for gesture sensing, high-resolution frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) radars for distance measurement, short range sensing operations, as well as hidden sensing applications in the radome.
24.05.2022 11:40 Infineon introduces the highly-integrated and scalable wireless charging platform WLC with Qi-compliant and configurable controllers
Munich, Germany, and Taipei, Taiwan – 24 May, 2022 – The wireless charging market has been increasingly growing over the last years, with more and more applications applying this capability to make use of the offered benefits. To help designers overcome the challenges of modern wireless power transfer and serve key application requirements, Infineon Technologies AG (FSE: IFX / OTCQX: IFNNY) today launched the WLC1115 transmitter controller ICs: the first product of the new WLC family of controllers for inductive wireless charging. WLC1115 comes along with a Qi v1.3.2 certified MP A11 power transmitter reference solution, targeting various applications, including smartphones, smart speakers, docking stations, monitor stands, as well as industrial or healthcare accessories.
18.05.2022 10:15 Infineon expands the LITIX™ Power family with a dual-channel DC-DC controller for full LED headlamps without a microcontroller
Munich, Germany – 18 May, 2022 – LED lighting is becoming more important in every car segment: It increases road safety and enables new design trends, such as flexible styling. To address the resulting requirements, Infineon Technologies AG (FSE: IFX / OTCQX: IFNNY) expands the LITIX™ Power family with the dual-channel, stand-alone DC-DC controller TLD6098-2ES. The controller is the first product that can drive a full LED headlamp by itself without an additional microcontroller. It can also operate the four standard LED front light functions: High Beam (HB), Low Beam (LB), Daytime Running Lights (DRL) and Turn Signal (TURN). In addition, LITIX Power products can be used as a voltage supply to meet the growing demand for animation in exterior LED lighting.
