Inova Semiconductors honored as "Digital Innovator 2023" |
For the third time in a row, the PC magazine Chip and Globis rank the Munich-based semiconductor company as one of the most innovative companies in Germany |
Munich, 01 March 2023 – Together with the experts from Globis Management Consulting, the PC magazine Chip has conducted a comprehensive survey of digital innovations. The aim was to find German companies that are particularly innovative in this field and thus real trailblazers. Inova Semiconductors has been named "Digital Innovator" for the third consecutive year for its innovation in electronics. Robert Kraus, CEO of Inova Semiconductors, is delighted about the being chosen again for this award by the respected PC magazine: "As this award is primarily based on the number of patent applications, I would like to take this opportunity to thank our innovative development team for the numerous patent applications. With our solutions APIX, ISELED, ILAS and most recently ADXpress, a new technology for high-speed data transmission in vehicles, we were and are at the cutting edge of innovative technologies." In the Chip study, a company's patents and their relevance served as a benchmark for its innovative strength. The study is limited to German applicants, with the first patent applications from 2020 to 2021 forming the main data basis. Only patent classes that can be assigned to the category of digital innovations were evaluated. Around 17,400 patents were registered in the period mentioned. Only these new patents were evaluated and included in the ranking. A total of around 1,700 German companies and organisations were involved. Of these, 322 companies from a good dozen sectors were identified and singled out as digital innovators. The complete study is published on the website of the PC magazine Chip at chip.de. |
