In a further expansion of its lifting equipment portfolio, it has launched its first battery powered chain hoist under the Yale brand. The portable Yale® BatteryStar™ does not require a power connection. It allows for variable speeds, to move and position heavy loads of up to one metric ton anywhere quickly, flexibly and precisely, without electricity. |

Kissing (Germany), 7 March 2024 – Columbus McKinnon Corporation (CMCO) is putting its subsidiary in Kissing, Germany, Columbus McKinnon Engineered Products, a technology leader in components and system solutions for motion control and lifting technology, on course for further growth with a new top management team. Robert Kirner and Marc Philipp are the successors to Ulrich Hintermeier, who held senior positions in the company for 35 years and retired at the beginning of 2024 after several years as Managing Director. |

Kissing (Germany), 24 January 2024 – Columbus McKinnon Engineered Products, a technology leader in components and system solutions for motion control and lifting technology, has supplied three additional BETA wire rope winches as special designs to the Ems-Nordsee Waterways and Shipping Authority (WSA) for the slipway at the Meppen building yard. Five of these winches have already been in operation since 2012. |

Kissing (Germany), 30 October 2023 – Columbus McKinnon Engineered Products, a technology leader in components and system solutions for motion control and lifting, presents a new variant of its Pfaff-silberblau branded K.13 bevel gear box. The ATEX K.13 EX series is specially designed for use in Zone 1/21 and 2/22 explosive atmospheres, fulfilling all requirements of European Directive 2014/34/EU. It has undergone a full range of testing and certification procedures to meet the stringent requirements of ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU. |

Columbus McKinnon Engineered Products manufactures lifting system for the first time via local partners under the "Make in India" initiative |

Kissing (Germany), 14 September 2023 – Pfaff Verkehrstechnik, which now trades as Columbus McKinnon Engineered Products, has delivered an underfloor lifting system to the Indian customer HYT Engineering Company, which, for the first time, has been manufactured locally under the "Make in India" initiative, i.e. the Indian manufacturing contribution is more than 50%. For the first time, the factory acceptance test of an underfloor lifting system including load tests was carried out on site in India in June 2023 and was approved at the first attempt in Ahmedabad without any flaws. To meet the requirements of the initiative and factory acceptance, Columbus McKinnon Engineered Products cooperates with local manufacturing partners, such as Stahl India, part of Columbus McKinnon, and Techno Industries, a leading Indian manufacturer of cranes, lifts and escalators. |
