PROVERTHA launches new 15-pin full-metal D-Sub hood with 2 parallel cable outputs |

Pforzheim (Germany) – 20 May 2021 – Provertha, a leading global supplier of bus and D-Sub connectors, is expanding its comprehensive product range to include 15-pin full-metal D-Sub hoods with two axial 180° cable outlets, a torsion and vibration-proof shield contact and strain relief based on a crimp flange/crimp sleeve system. Alternatively, strain relief and shield connection via external cable clamps for cable diameters of 4 - 14 mm are also possible. The new 10115DC series in zinc die-cast design offers users increased flexibility for cabling at bus interfaces. At the same time, it meets the high requirements for interference-free data transmission in demanding special applications as well as in railway and traffic technology. |

The certification covers all straight and angled (backplane) 10 Gbit Ethernet variants in the reliable, vibration-proof crimp connection technology. The turned crimp contacts have a significantly higher current carrying capacity for use in special applications. The M12-Mini X-Code in protection class IP67 (screw-locked) is the industry's most compact 10GigE cable connector for space-saving Ethernet or Profinet connection, which can be used in a temperature range from -40°C to +85°C
