TASKING unveils a new vision at embedded world
At booth 255 in hall 4, TASKING will launch its new brand identity and showcase its comprehensive product portfolio, covering the complete software development process.
Munich, Germany, 25. February 2025 – TASKING will be showcasing its latest tools for the development of high-performance, safe and secure embedded software at this year's embedded world in Nuremberg from March 11 to 13, 2025. This year, TASKING will be presenting its new brand identity at booth 255 in hall 4. Following the addition of iSYSTEM in September 2022 and the recent acquisition of LDRA, the company is introducing a unified corporate design, reflecting its evolution into a single, cohesive entity. While TASKING has a strong presence in the automotive sector, it is now on a mission to extend its expertise to other safety-critical markets and applications, such as industrial and aerospace, among others. Built on trust, customer orientation, expertise and a strong commitment to sustainability, TASKING aims to empower embedded software engineers to develop reliable, high-performance applications for a safer future.

“TASKING continues to expand its portfolio and capabilities through acquisitions that broaden our offerings to include advanced debugger, software trace, and analysis tools”, Gregor Zink, CEO of TASKING, explains. “This constant strategic growth makes TASKING a trusted partner for embedded software development tools and services, which we want to emphasize at the trade show with our new brand image.”

The company will be showcasing its new self-image at the booth with various demos that demonstrate the full range of its portfolio. This includes products such as the next-generation BlueBox debugger with support for virtual ECUs, and powerful compiler toolsets for TriCore AURIX™, Arm Cortex-M/Cortex-R, and RISC-V.

TASKING will showcase multiple demos at booth 255 in hall 4:
  • Empowering Embedded Safety & Security: TASKING’s safety ecosystem provides the foundation for a TÜV-certified, end-to-end development workflow solution for safety-critical embedded systems development.
  • Accelerating Arm-Based Development: The versatility and power of the TASKING VX-toolset for Arm, winIDEA and the iC7max BlueBox debugger ensure seamless integration and optimized performance for the development of Arm-based architectures.
  • Pioneering RISC-V Development: TASKING tools accelerate innovations in next-generation RISC-V-based safety-critical embedded development, ensuring optimized code generation and advanced debugging for both virtual and physical SoCs.
  • Excellence in Debugging, Tracing, and Testing: TASKING streamlines automotive embedded system development with a cost-effective, scalable debugging solution. With test automation, seamless transitions between virtual ECUs and real SoCs, and third-party IDE compatibility like VSC and CLion, TASKING boosts debugging productivity and efficiency.
  • F1 Racing Demonstrator: Visitors can hop into the driver’s seat of the F1 Racing Demonstrator, which features a TC4x-based Battery Management System. This system utilizes software developed with the TASKING SmartCode toolset and debugged using the TASKING iC7 family of BlueBox debuggers.
  • The newly available AURIX™ TC4Dx AUTOSAR Starter Kit: This evaluation kit, developed in collaboration with Infineon and Vector, is designed to accelerate AUTOSAR-based application development on TC4x. The demo will showcase an Automated Cruise Control application, highlighting the kit’s capabilities in real-world automotive scenarios.
In addition to the demos, TASKING will be presenting two technical topics during the embedded world conference. On March 12, at 1:45 pm, Matthias Scheid, Senior Application Engineer at TASKING will talk about “Virtual ECUs: Redefining Scalability and Efficiency in Embedded Software Development, Debugging, and Testing”. Later that day, at 3:30 pm, Harald Paschke, Application Engineer, will present “Everything You Never Wanted to Know About Hardware Tracing – Utilizing Your Microcontroller’s Trace Capabilities for Maximum Timing Insights”.

Attendees can learn more about the synergies between the TASKING’s and LDRA’s products, by visiting LDRA at booth 406 in hall 4 to see the advantages of tools of the two companies working together.
