Stuttgart, GERMANY, 2015-09-01 – On 28 and 29 October 2015, the Vector Technology Days will have their premiere at the Motorworld in Böblingen, Germany. In a fittingly automotive ambience with 1000 m² of floor space, the high-tech company will present forward-looking technologies that you can touch. Vector is opening up its development labs and will demonstrate the latest product developments. The exhibition will be flanked by a forum featuring short talks on current development topics, workshops on all aspects of Vector’s core competency, and basic seminars. Who benefits from attending the Vector Technology Days? The target audience for this event include: developers, systems integrators, and conceptual forward thinkers who want to inform themselves about pioneering developments, products, design methods and technologies in a targeted manner. In addition, this new information platform offers an extensive scope for exchanging views among experts and for live insights into automotive IT. The exhibition’s live character is underlined by practice-oriented exhibits that include, among other things, a control-unit test and diagnosis demonstrated on a Unimog, simulation and testing of the charging-station communication on a BMW i3, remote diagnosis on a KTM 1290 Super Adventure, and a variety of other live demos. Furthermore, basic AUTOSAR software developed entirely in accordance with ISO 26262 will be presented for the first time. The exhibition is structured in the form of themed islands where interested developers, for example, can find out about the latest trends in the areas of ADAS, AUTOSAR, 360° test solutions, electromobility, model-based E/E-development, safety and security, automotive Ethernet, ECU calibration, etc., straight from the source in a focused way. In 20 practically oriented workshops and eight basic seminars, experienced trainers from the VectorAcademy explain central features of selected products and technologies. The experts shed light on every conceivable aspect of the development environment, along with the opportunity to have further details and questions discussed at the stands in the exhibition area. The compact and targeted concept guarantees that visitors can inform themselves in detail about their specific areas of interest without any of the time pressure that is typical of conventional trade fairs.
