Germany’s Best Employer: Vector Takes Second Place

Berlin/Stuttgart, Germany, 2019-03-25 – The Stuttgart IT specialist Vector claimed an outstanding second place in the 2019 Germany-wide “Great Place to Work” competition in the category for companies with between 501 and 2,000 employees. In Baden-Württemberg, Vector is the best-ranked mid-sized employer in this category. The award ceremony was held on the evening of March 14 in Berlin. The employees of the rapidly growing company attest that their employer provides an extraordinary workplace culture. In the information and communication technology sector, Vector ranked second in the category for large employers. For the study, the “Great Place to Work” initiative interviewed the employees of 680 companies using an online survey and conducted extensive culture audits on quality, variety and sustainability of the human resources management of the companies. Vector took second place here in the category of best German employer for companies with between 501 and 2,000 employees. In 2019, Vector can also call itself the second-best employer with more than 1,000 employees in the competitive information and communication technology sector. Vector has participated in the Great Place to Work Institute study since 2005 and has improved each time. In the electronics and electrical engineering industry comparison, Vector took first place. The survey was conducted in collaboration with Statista, Kununu and Xing and published in February 2019. Via the Kununu employer evaluation portal, approximately 200 Vector employees rate the employer as having a very high workplace quality: the average assessment is 4.3 of 5.
