Extended Management Board for Vector |
Stuttgart, GERMANY, 2024-06-21 – Dr. Volker Wetekam will strengthen the management team around Dr. Thomas Beck and Thomas Riegraf with effect from July 1, 2024. In addition, Dr. Matthias Traub will join the management of Vector on October 1, 2024. Dr. Volker Wetekam’s industrial background includes mobility/automotive, medical technology and IT. He has held leadership positions at highly regarded companies such as Bosch, Siemens and GE. Most recently, he was responsible for corporate strategy and business development, venture capital activities and autonomous driving at Robert Bosch. He holds post-graduate degrees in Software-Engineering/Finance and computer science. Volker has lived in the U.S., England, Belgium and Germany. Volker Wetekam is also a non-executive board member at Elekta, a leading medical technology company. From October 1 of this year, the management team will also be expanded by Dr. Matthias Traub. With him, the executive board will receive professional reinforcement from within its own ranks. Dr. Matthias Traub holds a doctorate from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. His many years of experience in various management positions at OEMs such as Mercedes, VW and CARIAD make him an ideal addition to the Vector management team. He has been Global Product Line Manager of the Embedded Software and Systems product line since 2023. With their complementary skills and shared commitment to precision and technology, the expanded executive board will further enhance the innovative strength and market position of Vector. The management team will continue to fulfill its responsibility towards employees, society and the environment. |
